We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to integrate our Analytics team. We believe that data-driven decisions are essential to all areas of our business and we want to expand our capacity to leverage our enormous and rich data accordingly. You’ll bring your expert knowledge to analyse user behaviour within our games, explore relevant KPIs and ultimately drive business decisions, provide insights and create an impact.

Challenges & Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Analyst, you’ll partner with several teams across the business to:

• Partner with product owners and stakeholders to validate product assumptions, provide analytical guidance and influence roadmap planning
• Work alongside product teams to understand analytical requirements, including planning, designing and analysing A/B tests.
• Conduct analysis, from quick descriptive ad-hoc requests to deep-dive exploratory analyses on a key business question.
• Build and optimise dashboards that serve the overall business data needs.
• Promote a data-driven culture, advising on best practices and showcasing impactful insights.
• Collaborate with other data roles and engineers in handling and defining FRVR’s data architecture, data collection, modelling and governance.

We are looking for someone with:

• Proven analyst working experience in gaming, e-commerce or similar industries.
• Strong SQL skills (no specific flavour).
• High Proficiency in a domain-specific language such as Python or R.
• Subject matter expert (or close) in statistical know-how, including expertise in experimentation.
• Previous working experience with BI tools such as Data Studio, Tableau or Looker.
• Experience with a cloud data warehouse for manipulating, transforming, and analysing complex data.
• Able to communicate and articulate complex concepts to business owners and drive alignment.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal

If you also have these experiences, it will be a bonus:

• Past experience supporting user acquisition efforts.
• Working familiarity with Free to Play games.
• Practice with dbt for data transformation
